Every morning I try to blend a green smoothie to start the day off. I noticed a huge increase in my energy level whenever I drink it in the morning. I just tried this avocado green smoothie and I really like it. Especially on a hot day, I find it refreshing to drink.
What you need: 2 romaine lettuce leaves, 1/2 avocado, handful of spinach, 4 stalks of celery, 1 pear, 1 banana, 3-4 cups of filtered water and about 1.5 tablespoons of unsweetened coconut. You can add cinnamon if you would like or cayenne pepper for a little kick.
Directions: Add all of the ingredients to a blender with 3-4 cups of filtered water and blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
